CVI Welcomes Hana Lee as Associate Director

Dear Colleagues,

I am excited to share with you our new Associate Director for the Stanford Cardiovascular Institute.

Hana Lee received her B.A. degree in Psychology from the University of San Francisco. She went on to receive an M.P.H. in Health Policy and Management at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in Baltimore, MD. Hana was the Project Director in the Department of Medicine – General Medicine Disciplines where she oversaw research evaluation projects and collaboration with the Stanford Health Care Corporate Partners Program.  Most recently, Hana was the Director of Strategic Initiatives in the Center for Population Health Sciences here at Stanford where she helped launch and lead the university-wide interdisciplinary center, led communication efforts, and organized symposia and seminar series.

Her broad expertise, creativity, and enthusiasm for strategic discoveries will surely contribute to the growth and diversity of the Stanford Cardiovascular Institute. CVI members are among the best clinicians and researchers in the country and Hana will play a key role in supporting their goals and research in addition to identifying new opportunities that further strengthen the CVI. Please join me in welcoming Hana to the CVI.

We also sincerely thank Ingrid Ibarra for her dedication to CVI over the past two years and look forward to hearing great things about her new ventures.

Best wishes,
Joseph Wu, MD, PhD
