Other ResearchThe Stanford Cardiovascular Institute is an organizing center, linking all of Stanford's basic science, engineering, clinical research and clinical care related to cardiovascular health in adults and children. The Institue's interdisciplinary approach to the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of heart disease generates new collaborations and integrative programs to improve the health of patients with diseases of the heart and vessel system and ultimately to eliminate heart disease. Stanford CVI investigators and those affiliated with the other Stanford Institutes of Translational Medicine mutually benefit through inter-Institute collaborations and sharing of core resources in Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine; Immunology, Transplantation and Infection; Neurosciences; and the Comprehensive Cancer Center. |
