Jared Churko
Congratulation to Dr. Churko, a postdoc in Dr. Joseph Wu’s lab for receiving the Agilent Sequencing Grant Program which is designed to drive awareness and acceptance of the Agilent enrichment services offered at Stanford University through the Stanford Functional Genomics Facility. This grant funds SureSelect products offered by Agilent to produce libraries needed for next generation sequencing. Funds provided by this grant will be used to perform targeted enrichment of methylated DNA from human induced pluripotent stem cells.

Dr. Nead, from the Vascular Medicine translational research group, has been awarded a Society for Vascular Medicine (SVM) travel grant to attend the SVM 2013 Annual Meeting in Cleveland, Ohio.

Feng Lan
