Stanford Cardiovascular Institute awards eight internal seed grants: 30 interdisciplinary research project proposals received
2/29/08 At the CVI member retreat on 29 February 2008 CVI Director Robert Robbins, MD, announced eight winners of the annual CVI seed grant award RFP. Proposals were: a. collaborations involving a minimum of two faculty from discrete disciplines, b. not currently funded, c. able to grow into a program project. The following eight proposals were awarded round one funding of $25,000 each.
Eligibility for second round funding will be decided by a review panel in October 2008. The winners are:
